While Texas shows no sign of cooling off, the autumn months and weather are creeping in. Always a poignant reminder of the approaching winter months and the need for warmth and support within our community. On October 18, 2024, Texas Waste Solutions, in collaboration with our generous partners, is hosting a donations collections event dedicated to providing essential support to local individuals experiencing homelessness. This is your chance to make a tangible difference in someone’s life through the Don't Waste Donate Drive a program.

What’s the Event About?

Texas Waste Solutions' Don't Waste Donate Program is all about community, compassion, and action. Our goal is to collect and distribute critical items to those in need. Whether it’s gently used clothing, shoes, hygiene items, blankets, or winter apparel, every donation contributes to a warmer, more hopeful winter for our neighbors facing homelessness.

Items We Need

Your contributions can make a significant impact. Here’s a list of the items we’re seeking:

• Gently Used Clothing:Clean and wearable clothing that can help individuals stay comfortable during colder months.

• Shoes:Footwear that can provide support and protection against the elements.

• Hygiene Items:Essential items like soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and other personal care products.

• Blankets:Cozy blankets to provide warmth during chilly nights.

• Winter Items Coats, scarves, gloves, and hats to keep individuals warm in the winter weather.

How to Participate

Drop-Off Locations: We have set up convenient drop-off points across Central Texas where you can bring your donations. These locations will be open on the day of the event, and be announced in September.

Pick-Up Service: For those who might find it challenging to deliver items in person, we’re offering a pick-up service. Simply arrange a time with us, and our team will come to collect your donations from your home or business. Call to Schedule a Friday Pick up. 830-928-2779
